WORSHIP AT GOOD NEWS

             Spring 2024

You are invited to worship with us in person or on YouTube for our Sunday morning 10 a.m. worship service!

This week we're beginning a 3-week mini series on Israel and the tabernacle. We'll be taking on relatively large sections of Exodus each week.

April 7: Exodus 25-32 - Unraveling

April 14: Exodus 33-34 - Proclaiming

We are

A Worshipping Community

Good News Christian Reformed Church has been part of the east end of London, Ontario since 1989. Through God's gracious help and guidance, we hope to share the good news of God’s amazing love for everyone.

Our Sunday morning worship service at 10:00 a.m. is central to the life of Good News Church. So, whether it is your first time coming to church or you've just moved into the neighbourhood, we invite you to join us.

You can come dressed to be comfortable. Our congregants come in anything from jeans to a shirt and tie. Our church building is fully wheelchair accessible and there is plenty of parking in the parking lot.

Our greeters are eager to meet you and help you find your way into the worship service. Mask-wearing is optional inside the building, and we ask that you respect physical distancing at all times. The sanctuary where we worship has seating spread out so that you may sit with your household in appropriate physically distant groups.

We have a nursery for children from birth to five years old, and activity binders for older kids to use during the service.

And you're welcome to stay after service for coffee and get to know some folks after the service.

If you would like to give to a cause we support, you may make your offerings

  1. by etransfer money from your online banking to bookkeeper4gncrc@gmail.com NO password needed.
  2. by writing a cheque to Good News Church and mailing it to the church.

Worship at Good News Church

"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit."

Ephesians 2:19-22

We Believe

Good News Church is part of a larger denomination called the Christian Reformed Church in North America. The CRCNA website states: “We call ourselves Christian because we are followers of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus was the Son of God and that he is the center of human history. We’re called Reformed because we grow on a branch of the church tree that emerged from the Protestant Reformation in sixteenth-century Europe. We’re a Church because we believe God has called us together to be a people who belong to him and live for him.” (www.crcna.org)

What we believe

"...but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love."

Ephesians 4:15-16
