AODA:  Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act

Through the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, the province is becoming more accessible for

people with disabilities. Under the act, accessibility standards are being developed. These are the rules that Ontario businesses and organizations must follow to break down barriers for people with disabilities.  Good News Church is committed to making our facility

and the services we offer accessible to persons with disabilities.  All individuals in serving roles in the church have taken the online AODA training and are aware of accessibility issues.

Good News believes all people are created in the image of God and as such have intrinsic

value in His sight.  We also desire to make the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the hope of salvation accessible to all people.

Accessible Facilities

The Good News Church facility is completely wheelchair accessible, and is equipped with a power access door on the south side of the building.  A wheelchair washroom is provided just off the sanctuary.
